A few words about us:
SAVVIDIS PACK (Metska Zoi & Co. Ltd.) was founded in 1945 in Thessaloniki, having as its historical headquarters the "Ladadika" area, on the famous Polytechniou Street. After three generations of flawless operation and with many years of experience as a guarantee, today it is based in Oreokastro.
In the framework of our fundamental value which is environmental protection - which ensures sustainability - we observe the principles of the relevant legislation. Every day we mobilize the know-how and its means, to contribute in our way to a better ecological industry and, by extension, to a safer environment!
SAVVIDIS PACK services
Initially, our experienced and qualified staff undertakes the evaluation and categorization of the industrial packaging transported to our facilities (evaluation according to their type):
plastic barrel reformation

(ΙΒC5, UN, non UN approupd)
The aforementioned packaging can be used in industrial companies, which are active in:
Chemical products
(paints, varnishes, etc.)
Fertilizers
Mineral oils
Waste
Food
Then, the cleaning operations of the packages
include the following stages:
waterproofing
correction of possible errors and distortions
replacement of any problematic parts (valves, caps, etc.)
external and internal cleaning
coloring of metal barrels
quality control
On the contrary, packages that do not meet the conditions for their correct reuse are withdrawn from production and sent to collaborating certified units for a different form of recycling.
At SAVVIDIS PACK, in Thessaloniki, we have a fleet of special trucks and, thus, undertake:
- on the one hand, the receipt of industrial packaging available for recycling
- on the other hand, the delivery of recycled materials for use
Licenses - Certifications
The company "SAVVIDIS PACK" operates in its entire range in accordance with the new Environmental Law number 46/85-2020. It is registered in the "Electronic Waste Register" (EMA) and has the required General Liability Insurance for the collection, transport and management of packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous waste with the codes from the European Waste Table (EKA) 150102, 150104, 150106 & 150110*. ISO certification is pending.
